Have you used a lot of time to manually edit the Scope category that the Morescope algorithm suggets for your supplier? Well, now you have the possibility to customize our very algorithm to fit your own accounting!
This has been a hightly requested feature, especially amongst accountants and customers with accounting background, to be able to see and customize the rules for how we handle transactions accounted on different account codes! We have build this for several standards, including the Norwegian NGAP, the municipality specific KOSTRA, and the international IFRS.
Do you use another standard we have not supported yet? No problem! Select Custom and build up your accounting rules form scratch! Feel free to reach out for help here, as we want to support more accounting standards as well!
These settings will work across integrations, and also for manually uploaded data (SAF-T files and Excel uploads). Check out all our integrations here.
Also, to be able to see the account codes on each specific transaction, and also document what has been excluded is another important feature, especially for an audit. Now you can see both the total amount that has been excluded on import (currency neutral) and the account code for each imported transaction.
If you are a financial institution, you may need to report not only on your direct investments, but also your loans, bonds, guarantees and other financed emissions. This is not clearly defined in the GHG Protocol, but we have now implemented the PCAF methodology for financed emissions in our scope category 3.15 Investments.
Feel free to test it out!
Another small, yet highly requested feature is the expantion of emission intensities calculations to include product outputs. Until now, we have only caluclated emissions per employee and per revenue, but the inclution of emisison per output is a very flexible way of contextualizing your real carbon footprint.
Are you a fish farmer? Here is your emissions per tonne fish produced.
Are you a real estate company? Here is the emissions per square meters.
Are you a energy distributor? Here is the emissions per kWh distributed.
